Here it is the announcement of selection for our second Roman weekly workshop wishing to propitiate the approach of the young scholars in Humanities to the knowledge and the use of the central archives of the religious orders, through lectures and workshops held by renowned scholars who have attended them and deeply know them, and through guided tours to the Historical Archives of the Discalced Carmelites, the Minor Friars, the Augustinians, the Dominican Friars and the Jesuits. From 3rd to 7ht June 2024, a selected group of researchers will be guided to the comprehension of the documents, together with the knowledge of the archives they are stored in: a unique occasion for scholars involved in the history of the religious orders and more broadly in the history of Catholicism in the medieval, early modern, modern and contemporary eras.
