On the occasion of the 80th year of age of prof. Gino Benzoni, tenured professor of History of Historiography at the University ‘Ca’ Foscari’ of Venice and Director of the Institute for the history of the Venetian society and state at the Cini Foundation of the same city, our Institute will organize in Florence a half-a-day conference next Friday 3rd November at 3.30 pm: renowned foreign and Italian scholars will outline the topics of his researches from the Sixties till today, having investigated the history of Venice in its multiple aspects.
